Nigeria’s COVID-19 response has been driven by the National COVID-19 Pandemic Multi-Sectoral Response Plan coordinated by the Presidential Task Force/Presidential Steering Committee on COVID-19 and related bodies at the State level. But has gender been adequately factored into the response?

Come along to our webinar where we will explain how we used our ‘How to create a gender-responsive pandemic plan’ tool to shine a light on some of the actions taken in Nigeria. We will highlight the good practice and offer suggestions about how the government and other stakeholders could take things further in terms of fostering equity.

We hope to see you there!

Speakers:

  1. Amy Oyekunle, Gender consultant, Nigeria, Gender and COVID-19 Project
  2. Heang-Lee Tan, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Gender and COVID-19 Project

Moderator:

  1. Rosemary Morgan, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Gender and COVID-19 Project
